          Wildbird Protector Regular Giving

The list of threatened species is growing and the number of critically-endangered birds on the brink of extinction is a serious concern. You can help BirdLife Australia stop extinction by making a monthly gift to protect Australia’s most threatened birds and their habitats.

Wildbird Protector gifts allow BirdLife Australia to support long-term bird conservation programs that are critical to the birds’ survival. For example, your gift will deliver:

Volunteer-led conservation - $30 a month helps fund coordination and support for our passionate volunteers who survey the health of threatened bird populations, so we can protect the birds’ habitat and measure the impact of our conservation actions.

Campaigns – $50 a month helps BirdLife Australia advocate for science-based policies and decisions at all levels of government; such as preventing the illegal clearing of native banksia trees used for foraging and feeding by endangered birds like Carnaby’s Black-Cockatoo.

Targeted Recovery Programs - $100 a month helps protect Australia’s most threatened birds through breeding programs, habitat conservation, predator control and nest protection like the beach shelter our volunteers build to protect newly-hatched Hooded Plover chicks from being eaten by predators.

          Wildbird Protector regular giving includes:

          • Easy sign up with direct debit or credit card
          • Quarterly Australian Birdlife magazine and monthly BirdLife Australia e-news to keep you up to date with the latest in bird conservation features, news, and events
          • Gifts are tax deductible with a consolidated tax receipt annually in July

Your one-off donation makes a positive difference and builds a future for our native birds.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible and processed securely.

If you would like to get involved with BirdLife Australia's governance and have your say by voting at AGMs or taking up office-bearer positions, why not consider becoming a member?
